last time i looked, Brees has seldom had a good defense behind him more less a great defense like the seahawks had.

I thought the Seahawks play calling on offense tonight was horrible. I realize the Seahawks had a decent season given early expectations but it's like Schottenheimer shortened the playbook to about six plays on offense. Run on 1st down, run on 2nd down, and pass on 3rd down. Rinse and repeat.

Even from a Patriots fan this is a remarkably terrible take. Brady can't win #### without a good defense either (nevermind the easiest division in sports history) so I'm really not sure what your point is. That football is a team game?

I did a horrible job betting on yesterdays games. I was wrong on every call. I picked Chargers and Bears for today so expect them to lose today.

Seahawks should have won back to back super bowls. They were on the 1 yr line.

Yeah, meatheads will just say he blew it because of one play as if that erases everything up to that point. Realistically, you don't maintain a winning record as a QB for seven straight seasons without a great QB in this league, especially with the ever increasing importance of the position. The big thing for me is that he's had a revolving door of "go to" WRs during that period, from Rice to Tate to Kearse to Baldwin to Lockett, and arguably even more so at the TE position. He elevates the people he's playing with. Hell, if this year isn't evidence enough - when they had no business making the playoffs - I don't know what to tell you. If anything, Wilson's underrated.

I’m two for two with the spread. Baltimore and Philly (though Chicago wins) for today. I’m better than even for the weekend no matter how today goes.

The back door cover by the Seahawks because they had to go for two because they had no kicker is one of the most ridiculous covers ever. It also made the over.

Just an amazing moment in gambling history how much money changed hands on the two point conversion.

my point is that even though i dont like the seahawks, that d they had was likely as good a defense for an extended time the league has seen for quite a while. of course any QB needs a good defense to win, but my point is with an elite QB, the hawks should have had likely 2-3 titles. Even this year, their 10 wins were against opponents who finished the season with a combined 63-95-1 record. i just didnt see them as a cinderella team who were all that dangerous.

Feels like a Flacco cameo is inevitable.

I just dont see what apparently everyone else does in Lamar Jackson. Reminds me of Geno Smith or Tebow. Can make some throws but looks to run and can be bottled uo

Rivers gets hit hard and the LB is the one injured. Some kind of toughness.

The Ravens are fortunate that will get out of this half down by 12 at the worst. If they have to throw in the second half they won't keep up.

It's just weird to see a Chargers kicker actually making kicks.

They showed the stat in the first half but the Ravens trailed for the least time in the league during Jackson.s time as starter and never trailed more than eight. Obviously defense has a lot to do with it, but it's tough to go away from a winning QB. Assuming they don't go to Flacco it should be interesting to see if they open it up for Jackson. Don't think he'll do very well against the Chargers secondary.

Chargers should have buried this game already. We'll see if they regret it.
