I am really giddy about this season. Yes, I think giddy is the appropriate term.

Mangiapane needs to bear down. If he’s in competition with Dube one guy is ready for his chances and it hasn’t been eat bread ... yet

I think we're going to have wished we signed Czar for longer than 2 years.

We did our season ticket split today. Looks like the Flames are going to be much more entertaining this year, which at the end of the day is what it’s all about.

He looks out of sync compared to the NHLers.

Czarnik has to make the team right? He's gonna be a gooder. Maybe some inconsistency over a full season but I think he helps the bottom six contribute more to the scoreboard.

Anyone know why Boston would give up on Czar, given his strong numbers in the AHL, especially with so many teams after him?

The other China players do look a bit out of it though. Maybe they'll sync as the game goes on.

I imagine his cap hit combined with their depth at forward already.

I think Czarnik maybe gave up on Boston, he was a UFA after all.
Calgary's winger depth situation was a lot easier to crack than Boston's was at the start of the summer.

They have a lot of good young forwards, many of whom are waiver exempt while Czarnik is not.

I think he was expected to make the team from the get go, unless he falls flat on his face over the next week he's on the opening night roster. Top 3 lines.

Boston has a bunch of younger more controllable assets at FW that can slot in this year.
Senyshyn, Forsbaka-Karlsson, Debrusk, Donato. theyre pretty good.

Wow, how old was that shot of Calgary? No Brookfield or Telus Sky whatsoever.

I thought so too from the outset. But people were slotting Mangipane ahead or a few others. But he's like Dube to me right now. There's not much competition.
