I don't know, these kind of "what if" questions seem kind of pointless. I've seen the Flames play very well at times this year, and very poorly at other times. So I guess, yeah. Could see it.

FFS what's with all the last second comebacks in the OOT?
Things are still looking good for the Flames though being right in the thick of things with an easier remaining schedule.

That said, the Flames never, ever make it easy for themselves.

That was the Kings first win all season when trailing by 2 heading into the third period.
WTF is with the inferiority complex on CP these days.

If I didn't look at the actual standings and records, I'd have thought the Kings, Stars, Ducks and Avs were way ahead, and had never had bad games, by reading some of these posts.

Kings had an 10-11 point lead on the Flames to start 2018 and now they are tied. Somehow we don't have the horses to keep up though and the season is basically over according to some.

The Kings from the last two minutes of the Vegas game are tough to play against. The Kings who played the Oilers a couple games ago aren't.
I think the Flames are much more balanced than a bunch of the teams they are competing with for a PO spot. The Kings are a good example of that.
