Brodie is playing too many minutes. How the coaching staff can't see that is beyond me.
Remeber the last over time loss? Brouwer out for 3 straight faceoffs in a 4 on 3 for nearly 2 minutes?

There’s a lot to love about this team, but it might also be fair to say, we are coached by idiots? All this talent and 23rd ranked PP? How do you keep your job when you are so quantifiably bad at it?

His center has been trash for a month, but Tkachuk who is the only player who drags his team into every game is at fault? Take a lap.

My expectations are just as high if not higher. I just don't feel the need to come onto a message board to be a constant wet blanket for reason unknown.

You've had the same schtick for years.

Progress.

Sure, the team went 0/5 but I'm sure that's unrelated.

I freakin' love watching Doughty screw over his entire team with his descent in Tkachuk-induced madness.

Tkachuk has mineral rights on Doughty's brain.
So are you saying it's Bennett's fault they lost? Or are you just carrying the torch for Tinordi tonight?

I suggest you grow up then and realize that watching hockey shouldn't be taken as seriously.

Carried the play most of the game, the PP continues to disappoint and lack of a secondary scoring threat seems more evident. They deserved better but lacked finish. Disappointed in the results this week but optimistic that getting those single points are keeping their heads above water. If there is a scoring winger out ther Tre needs to go get them.

I'd do a line blender, these lines aren't working right now. Shut down the top line and that dries up the Flames offense.

WTF was Janko doing on the breakway he had in the first? Shot the puck wide when he had no one near him.

Many of you have the pitchforks out for the Gulutzan for not being enough of a @#$# ass coach, but are quick to give the players an easy pass when they are clearly mailing it in.

Flames are great on the road, Oil are garbage at home with a PK that lets in 1 goal out of 2 kill attempts. Flames can't beat the Oilers. Flames PP is terrible. Something has to give.

Mike Smith makes far too many reckless plays with the puck.
Powerplay remains anemic.
Game would have been over if Tkachuk doesn't Buckner that pass to him alone in the slot.

To be fair....Bennett has been horrible for a while now. Again. Though he isn't alone in that regard.

That's not true. I just call it like I see it and a lot of people prefer censored takes. That's not my problem.

Both teams were bad. One team has to win. Tonight it was the Kings but certainly not because of overall merit thru 60 plus minutes.
I agree, as frustrating as the game was to watch the kings did not deserve to win more than the flames did. The power play though is the difference as many have pointed out. I sure would like to see something different tried on it. Even if they would just have the old shoot from the point with someone (not Brouwer) in front of the net.

The Flames were by far the better team 5 on 5 and then gave up in the 3rd.

This isn't bad hockey. It's just maddening.

What were they doing for the last 7 minutes of this game?
