I agree.

Gaudreau-Bennett-Lazar (speed)
Versteeg-Monahan-Jagr (slow)
Tkachuk-Backlund-Frolik (smart)
X-Jankowski-Ferland (whatever)

The kid is a good complimentary player to highly skilled players.

Big time hustle and isn’t a dumb dumb. It’s awesome to see because the damn kid is just so charismatic.

I wonder if you just swap Ferland and him back and forth 4th line 1st line, depending on who's feeling it. Both have that ability.

It's great to have these problems imo, Lazar looked very strong on his skates today

Maybe not our saviour but he is only 22 and has 4 points in 5 games as a Flame in regular season games.

I think it would be smart to keep him playing with guys like JG and Bennett.

He is not a player that will excell in the bottom 6.

17th overall in his draft year in a very deep draft so the skill is there. It is only 1 postion higher than Valimaki.

Don’t forget the team that dumped him.

Hope he turns out but anyone can have a flukey game, consistency that’s professional!

I feel like Gaudreau/Bennett/Lazar should be a thing for now. All three guys want to play fast and their speed compliments each others game very nicely

I avoided the last PGT to avoid the cliff jumpers. But are we being treated to ATL reports this season?

I thought Bennett was an absolute beast tonight. This game solely convinced me that he needs to stay with the Flames. The kid is gonna put it all together.

We can all see his speed and his grit - he is a lot like Ferland in the way that he can forecheck so effectively. He may never produce as a first liner, but he has some untapped offensive talent that will come in time.

.
This and at only 22 he lost a full year of development due to having Mono.
