Okay... We really have to think if Dube will make it to the NHL... Same situation as Bennett a while back. CHL or NHL.

That "A" looks so good on Backlund. They should keep it there full time.

Yeah he's definitely high risk at times, but he's got skill and seems to make the right reads most of the time. Could be a beauty in the near future.

CP has been hyper critical of this kid, but his game is really beginning to come together. If he puts it together, that’s a win for the scouting staff, GM (traded up to get the pick), and player development.

Fought for Lomberg in the prospect polls. Should get tons of quality ice time in Stockton this year. I hope he makes the team someday

Where would Dube fit in the lineup and who would sit out?

Agreed, all I've read says his decision making is questionable, in the few times I've seen him I haven't come away with that conclusion. I think he could end up in a similar situation to Hamilton, where with a responsible partner that lets him take risks, he'll excel

As Gulutzan says, better to tame a Mustang than beat a mule. Out of Fox/Kylington/Valimaki/Andersson, I am predicting Oliver to make the show first.

Kylington plays with a really short stick, interesting to see that for a defenceman.

I don't mind them calling the ticky tacky slashing like they have been, but didn't Dube just lift his stick there? That seems a little extreme for a penalty.

I think you send him back to junior regardless of how well he plays.
