That being said let's vote the crap out of this!
Well then, I take that back!

I have a feeling no matter how much we vote this round though, the Flames logo is no making it to the final haha

Guess icethetics is not a fan of democracy....

I think you might be just be making a joke at the Leaf's expense but...

Someone in the comments explicitly said it was us, said they were gonna report it to the site owner and then a few hours later the site owner posted a hilariously petty update saying that he found some irregularities.

This whole thing is pretty pathetic now, don't allow people to vote if you don't want people campaigning to have their logo selected.

If he is so upset at being able to vote multiple times, he shouldn't have a poll with such an easy bypass. Make it one vote per IP and that's it. Is it really rocket science? He is partially at fault too.

Shame on us guys.
This really puts a black mark on the legitimacy of such a storied poll.

But did anyone actually have to do anything special to vote more than once? I voted twice in one day a few days ago, and I'm pretty sure I just clicked on the link in the op and voted, with maybe a few hours in between. There was no error or message informing me of any voting restrictions.

I have voted once a day for both the Flames and the Hawks for about a wqeek. Nothing anywhere indicated this would contravene his poll. No bots, just log in vote see the totals (Yay Flames!! WTF Toronto?) once a day.

So if this is "stuffing the ballots" then I am guilty. And ya know what? I don't feel bad about it at all.

When I voted, the Flames % dropped more than a full point. That looked fishy to me.

I only voted the once a round myself. Best part though is looking at the bottom of this page and only seeing 10 active readers at a time...with numbers like that it's no wonder we could stuff the ballot box so easy.....

Hahaha I know I'm behind the times a little but I just saw his post from yesterday. Does he think the Leafs logo is actually better than the Bruins and Devils?? On what planet would this turn out to be a completely honest assessment? Dork..

I've never seen such a meaningless fan poll get a reaction from so many different people on all sides.

I instinctively voted again to see where the results were at... assuming that there would be a once per IP/computer condition - kind of like how polls have been done since their inception.

Chris has always been an over opinionated #### ass whiner when things don't go "his" way. So many IceHL teams gutted, ruined and completely erased because they didn't meet his perfect standards

I used to follow Icethetics religiously, the concepts, new jerseys, IceHL until his opinions started to overshadow what the site was really about. I would poke around there during the Adidas reveals but after this... as a 9-10 year user of his website, I'm done. I can't support him anymore

If it matters, I actually voted for the Wild last round. Trying to throw all of us under the bus is ridiculous

Based on what he's posted since that update, we are taking this the wrong way. It's got nothing to do with CP. Someone, not necessarily a Flames fan, has set up a bot to auto vote. Doesn't even mean it's the Flames logo that's being voted for. That's what he's trying to eliminate, he doesn't seem to have an issue with CP voting for the Flames logo.

That being said, I have never heard of this website before this thread was posted, so people with previous knowledge of the guy might see through that and view things differently.
