Edmonton's drafting mess seems to be a staple of the prior management. Chiarelli's done a good job (results withstanding) and his ability to add guys like Caggiula, Benning via the college FA market is pretty invaluable.
Before we deem these guys as good picks we should probably see them play in the league. Puljujarvi seems like a can't miss but he struggled this year with the NHL game coming from Europe and by the way he was a top 5 pick. Jury is still out on Caggiula. He has been in the league for 1 season. I also would lump in RNH with Mcdavid or Drasaitl.

Like I said before there drafting has been horrible and the jury is still out on Chiarelli's draft picks.

This really is a lose-lose situation. Can't pull for either team. Is it possible for both of them to lose? Maybe they can just make St. Louis vs Nashville the WCF.

Having said that, I think the Ducks in 6. Eeeew
I need a shower now.

I feel like the mods should be tracking the accounts supporting the Oilers so we can pin a scarlet letter on them. It's inconceivable that a Flames fan would stoop that low!

Anaheim because at least we wont have to hear about them all the time since their fanbase isnt as large as the obnoxious Oilers one. Easy choice

Could see the winner going to the cup. Anaheim has better depth than Edmonton, but Edmonton has better game breakers in Talbot and McDavid.

Oilers vs Predators; Oilers in 7
Pittsburgh vs Ottawa; Pittsburgh in 5

Oilers vs Pittsburgh; Oilers in 7

Don't even mind, as long as the cup comes back to Alberta.

I think he lost a bet or something. Or he's converted.

Puljujarvi's development seems back on track after he was sent down to the AHL. I think he'll explode at the Worlds and shows us just how good he is and how we forgot.

Honestly don't care since neither of them are the flames. Still mad that we didn't get at least one win.

The massive trolling that is already going on in this thread is exactly why I am cheering for the Ducks.

It was basically a tie as the point total was equal at 6-6, the Ducks lost 2 of the games in OT.
