Was Alex Lifeson hiding out in your basement?

I woke up once and three of my fingernails had nail polish on them. My daughter was so proud of herself.

But, since you get so many calls about creepy mystery bags, you can't really be sure if you answered calgaryblood's specific call.

Not really. But I'm also not comfortable/really allowed to talk about specific calls, so even if I did get it, I wouldn't say I did (or did not) outside of an immediate work setting. It's an interesting level of detachment from self, as I've taken calls from friends and family. Some recognized my voice, several have not. I've never told them it was me they were talking to.

It's part of the job, imo.

Oh, I know. It was just a joke.

Don't know why everyone is mocking the OP for being wildly paranoid and calling the cops because he found a piece of garbage in his house. It says right there on the bag itself, "Plastic bags can be dangerous". A clear warning. I'd call 911 immediately.

Well this is the reason I didn't want to post a picture of the bag. Just more ammo for a guy like the sun who has garbage all over his house and wouldn't notice if a homeless man moved in.

My house is clean, and if someone put a bag in the tub twice in two weeks I don't think that's being paranoid at all.

They are connected. A rotating group works the phones that answer "emergency only", the rest of us answer the non emerg phones which 911 calls override if all the folks answering emerg only are busy on calls. Who's sitting on which phone changes every 4-6 hours (our shifts range from 8-12 hours).

Maybe the years of VOC's are taking their toll?

Honestly I think if you really want to get to the bottom of it you need to put a camera. Hidden camera's in the bathroom are a touchy subject though.

Since he lives by himself it shouldn't be an issue. If he has guests over he can move the camera into the area outside of the bathroom so he can see people coming and going from the bathroom.

Calgaryblood, a couple questions that maybe have been asked already:
- Did you have guests over the day of, or day before you found the plastic bags?
- Have you checked all your windows to ensure they are locked, or not easily opened from the outside? Perhaps somebody gained entry through a window?
- Any footprints in the snow that shouldn't be there?

Hopefully those questions can help you think of ways somebody may gain entry to your house.

My plastic bag dilemma is that I keep forgetting I have to to bring my own bag to Wal Mart now now so I keep paying 5 cents per bag and then I have a giant collection of expensive plastic bags inside a larger plastic bag sitting under my sink.

How is this a dilemma? If anything it's a problem.
