That must have gone in but I don't think there is any evidence showing it.

It probably doesn't come as a surprise but so far the amount of footage I've collected from Tkachuk this season is staggering compared to almost every other player. He has many shifts that are impressive to watch in their entirety.

That might be the best period I have seen the Flames play all year. Could have been 3 or 4-0 if not for some missed nets and great saves.

Solid road period by the Flames. A couple of scary shifts where they were hemmed in, but otherwise they looked decent. Johnson continues to be our best player.

Decent for Hamilton in Boston. Not trying too hard to prove anything, just good plays and nice passes.

Goaltending is settled now. Team is playing quite well overall the past 10 games, especially when Johnson is in net. If we improve our PP and when Johnny comes back he can help Monahan going, I feel quite good. There is hope!

He seems to know where to be at the right times, and when you have 4 guys wacking/cross checking him in one shift tells you all you need to know! The guy is a pest and comes to play every night.

He does everything right. So evident that he spent his childhood growing up in NHL rinks because he has all of the greasy little moves of a 30-something veteran. He plays like a Sutter.
And he's a teenager with endless talent.
What a beauty he is going to be.

It wasn't necessary, but it's so unlike this team to have a guy who will do that, so I'm guiltily enjoying the chippyness a tad. Bruins are no stranger to pest-like behaviour anyhow.

I also liked how Chiasson and Gio both responded immediately when Pastrnak swung his stick at Bennett. We need more of that solidarity.

What happened at the end of the period? as sportsnet cut to break it looked like both teams were in a scrum.

If the Flames can improve the PP to where's it's at least somewhat respectable (maybe 19th or 20th), I think this would be a pretty tough team to play against. They've been much better defensively lately, the goaltending is rock solid with Johnson, and the overall effort is definitely there. Just gotta get the offence going. They're getting chances, but they still lack finish.

It's not even December yet. You guys forget what happened with Turek? Not saying he shouldn't be extended but he's a journeyman goaltender and lets find out if his play is sustainable before Treliving opens his wallet for an extension.

Right after the buzzer went to end the period, one of the Bruins players shoveled the puck towards the net. Flames probably thought it wasn't necessary as the buzzer had already gone.
