I hope all of the people who turned their noses up at the World Cup waiting for this are feeling foolish right now.

This is not acceptable and it's going to cost someone their job if we don't turn it around immediately.
And they are probably completely oblivious to this fact.

27mThe #Flames have 1 win in their first 6 games. CGY had a similar start on defence last season & so far in 2016-17, porous D's again an issue

so he should be, he has been garbage for awhile now. goaltending wasnt the biggest issue last year, the commitment and inability to play defense is. Carey Price in his MVP year wouldnt get these guys into the playoffs.

This may in fact be the worst Flames hockey I have watched at any point. The young guns era teams sucked, but at least they gave 100% effort and were cohesive. This team can't even string two passes together without messing it up.

When your best defenseman on the season has been Deryk Engelland and the only forwards playing well are Brouwer, Frolik and Backlund, it's going to be a fun time trying to turn this around. Even Elliott and Johnson have both been well above average in net, and still 26 goals against in 6 games. It's not their fault that the rest of the skaters leave them both hanging out to dry all game. So many stupid stupid decisions with the puck all game. Just completely brain dead plays.

If things don't change pronto, the Flames are going to be one of the contenders for the Nolan Patrick sweepstakes. I actually would prefer to keep Tkachuk in the press box for a few games just to see whether or not it would be more beneficial to him to get sent to London instead of sticking around this team when they can't seem to do anything right.

Downright pathetic effort.

he constantly stands up and makes excuses, "we need to be better" etc.... he is a weak leader

I said pretty much the same thing last PGT and was accused of not watching the Flames for longer than 10 years.

This is without a doubt the worst hockey I have ever watched in my life. It's actually depressing watching this team play especially after spending most of Saturday watching other teams play with passion and heart.

Watch another game and then watch the Flames. It's sad really.

Honest question. If the head coach is let go, who do you hire? Who is out there?

Ownership isn't going to pay two coaches not to coach for this team.

An 81yo Al MacNeil would have these guys more inspired than GG & Co.

problem goes beyond the coach, this is like when the flames were desperate and hired Keenan, who turned the team into a country club. that worked out well. Burke talks about truculence, this team has little of that.

Sean Monahan.
Johnny Gaudreau.
Sam Bennett.
Mark Giordano.
TJ Brodie.
Dougie Hamilton.

This whole season so far falls on those players. They have been mediocre at best. Our best players aren't playing like it. Has Monahan had one good game yet this year? I thought Bennett and Brodie were good tonight but Bennett especially has been awful.

Less than impressed with Gulutzan so far but he's not getting fired so soon so no use whining about him.

PP looks awful. Hockey isn't that complicated. Get the puck in the zone.

Would love to take a run at Ralph Krueger if he was willing.

If BT wanted to fire GG, he would be cutting his own throat, this is his guy. he is linked to him. he will get a lot of chances before that happens

Wait, Engelland had more shots on net than Johnny tonight?

Wowzers.
