for all you Corsi lovers - we had to win...and we couldnt have been half as bad as the posts in here try and tell you
Why doesn't Steinberg include RGI numbers in his tweet?

Nice snipe by Monahan!

On the replays I have trouble seeing a penalty. Borderline I suppose. Monahan gave him a push, and Reinhart tried hard to sell it more than anything imo.

Goonahan. I like it.

Flames needed that win in the worst way. Corsi/possession/shots mean little unless you're moving up in the standings. Big two points!

Our top guys looked like top guys in OT tonight. Brodie's smooth skating, Monahan relentless forecheck (nice try Reinhart) & and soft hands in tight Johnny's sick passing. Little confidence boost will go a long way for those guys. Rest of the good: Ferland's best game by far, Tkachuk's first goal and planting Sabre's on their asses, Backlund/Frolik solid as usual, Chiasson with a great game, Johnson stopped pucks when he needed to and middle/bottom pair solid again.

The bad: special teams are barf.

Ugly win, but oh so sweet to be back in the win column.

I'm with the folks calling that a dive. That cross check happens 10 times a game at the boards and there's no way it causes someone to fly off their feet into the boards. I've seen it happen a few games already, and I hope the refs start calling them as dives.

This pickle business has pricked and clicked in my thick, self-bickering brain. Quick -- I pick that we pick our icky slick lick to stick not on a brick or a tick, but a pick-le. It'll be sick.

A sloppy first two periods and half of the third, but after that things started to gel together. Secondary scoring from our players when it was needed the most and we're starting to see our core to rack up the points. Hopefully this win sparks some fun hockey again.
