Yeah not sure why Rivera didn't let him go on EE's hit, certainly when it hit the wall and stuck. Would've been close at the plate only if the 2nd baseman who was the cutoff man, threw a strong accurate dart from shallow center field.

The ball was already near the second baseman when Donaldson got to third. He would have been thrown out with ease.
Donaldson had to wait between first and second because it looked like it could have been caught.
