That's also a big part of the reason why they aren't on the team.

I get that the US feels that they have to play like this in order to beat Canada.

But watching this, I can't help thinking that all they have done is poke the bear.

Well it's been entertaining. Sure looks like they don't care much for each other out there.

Yeah, no. Just because the Americans are winning doesn't make this true. They're both trying hard. Americans just have capitalized on their chances. Price hasn't been good.

Because they're on vacation together?

Petriengelo has been really bad in this game. So many poor plays and passes. I know he's better than that but I still feel gio or Brodie could have been in this tournament over a few of the defencemen that are there.

Olympics are so much better. Right now we get to see a bunch of NHL'ers in offseason form. The Olympics allows us to see these players at peak performance in game shape, and it's much more exciting.

Did u miss the first games so far? It has been great hockey. Tonight felt like a playoff game. Just because Canada lost doesn't make it any less entertaining. If it wasn't for Price, Canada wins this.

It's entertaining because we've been without hockey from the big boys so long. But comparing the two, the Olympics is much more entertaining and has a bigger national pride impact.

Well of course the Olympics are better. The Olympics are better than the NHL games but you don't see people comparing the two.

It's good hockey no matter how much better the Olympics are.

It a bloody exhibition game - it doesn't matter yet and it was that intensity. Its not a matter of not having hockey, its the fact that this game did not matter and the real tournament is still ahead.

guys, this is the tournament now, they're going full out. There is no olympics anymore probably. Exhibition or not, when the country's colors are worn, it's for real.

small ice is always better. Vancouver 2010 was on small ice plus any world juniors in canada. it's just a better game

It was much better. Sochi was pretty boring hockey, honestly.
