I hope so, especially since Joel and Ashley are one of my favourite teams.

As for the Express Pass, dumb to use it at the beginning of the leg, when you don't know what else is to come. Is there a cut-off point for using it (i.e. not in the final legs)?

The bunch-up in Kingston was expected, but lame. Even with the bunch-up to start the episode, Steph & Kristen were still able to cruise through the leg to an easy victory. All the time they spent sorting through records in Calgary was for naught, with the Express Pass going unused.

The bunch-up saved Joel & Ashley and they overcame being U-turned to put in an impressive leg of their own.


With five teams remaining and five teams eliminated, it looks like next week will be a recap episode (I assume one of those interview shows hosted by James Duthie).

Based on the preview, it looks like there could be some adversity for the first time for Steph & Kristen as the race heads to Cuba for the next leg (in two weeks, apparently). Even if they do drop to last, it likely won't matter because the next leg will most likely be a non-elimination leg.

I think they all figured it out at Union Station.

I'm not sure if they'd know that they had until the end of this leg to use it, so they might think they still have it.

I don't know why Jill and Emmett were so adamant about finding out who gave the pass out. They balked on the task and almost expected Steph and Kristen to give it to them.

I'm bummed to see Julie and Lowell go out, rooting for Steph and Kristen to pull out the win.

I really wish I could understand this "controversy" over who won the express pass. The girls & Jillian/Emmet had an agreement that J&E didn't honour. The girls find the express pass and are free to give it to whatever team they want to. End of story.

Great leg though. It's been a really good race so far. And now off to Cuba, awesome.

Cause the girls lied about it. If I were to race (will never happen) and got the express pass. I give it to the weakest team right away. I'd probably wait at the end of the mat of the same and give it away

Too bad Julie and Lowell got eliminated but it was only a matter of time for them. I think I'm cheering for Rita and Yvette now, along with Joel and Ashley

I'm cheering for Joel and Ashley now. I liked Steph and Kristen, but they are fading for me. Maybe because they're always out in front, so there's no suspense with them anymore. If it came down to them versus Jillian and Emmett though, I would totally be on the Steph and Kristen train.

I kind of like Rita and Yvette, except I didn't pick them for my team, so I'm kind of hoping they go out. If they win, I'll be annoyed that they were there for the taking in the final picks and I missed them. Haha.

It will be interesting to see them go to Cuba - somewhere the original can't go.

I like all of the teams, and wouldn't be unhappy if any won.

Steph + Kristen are the most deserving -- but they've won so many legs, it wouldn't be the biggest tragedy if they didn't win the whole thing.

Ashley is strange - some episodes she comes across as fiercely strong and competitive, and others she's only seen crying and freaking out.

Didn't like how much she complained after Jill and Emmett U-turned them. I feel like that strong and competitive persona is more her playing to the cameras, it doesn't feel completely authentic.

I still like all of them though and wouldn't mind any of them winning.

I don't have a problem with their reaction at the time or when they first met up with Jillian and Emmett at the task. I'd probably be pissed off too, especially considering that they have been struggling lately. When the two teams met up later, the apologies were more along the lines of "we feel bad, so please make us feel better." Joel and Ashley needed to work hard to catch up, not waste energy making Jillian and Emmett feel better.

As long as they don't spend the rest of the race going on and on about how unfair it was, it won't bother me.

Frankie & Amy sure didn't have much loyalty after getting the pass. "We can't tell you who gave it to us, but keep guessing and we'll just let you know, wink wink". Come on. They told you not to say anything, gave you the pass. Be grateful, and don't betray them.

Stoked they are going to Cuba.

Yay! Back on tonight! AR Canada is at the top of my list for reality TV. Cuban leg should be awesome and very happy the race went outside Canada again.

Don't care who wins either although I wouldn't shed a tear if Jillian/Emmett got eliminated. Feel bad for Emmett but can't support a team with that level of crazy in it.
