That's a goal to me. But the call on the ice is goal, so something really conclusive has to overturn it.

Good goal.
Too bad this quality of video was't available in 2004.

Nah, the puck is slowly sliding along the ice so any white ice that is between the goal line and the puck is a true representation of its position over the line.
The Bennett goal was a little iffy because the puck was slightly in the air. Though it turns out that one should have counted too based on the Global TV recreation.

ROFL wtf is with that Blarney's Irish Cream commercial?
It sounds like a commercial for a sex line

We sure could have used those camera angles back in 2004.

Was the goal in 04 even officially reviewed? I seem to remember they didn't even review it but could be wrong.

Bennett's was a goal, nobody will ever convince me otherwise.

I don't understand how the ref called that a goal to begin with. You can't tell me he saw it cross the line from the corner boards? Of course it's hard to overturn once it's called a goal, but I'm sure the Pens will argue why it was even called a goal to begin with...

They claimed after the game that the league looked at it during the play since the next whistle was a while later still.
There was no in-arena review.
Here's tonight's:

Yeah just watched the ABC highlights and they didn't even review it and the whistle was only about 45 seconds later.

It was conclusively a goal, so either way, I'm glad the right call was made.
