Think they need some off field changes to improve things.

5 goals, glove high? Sure the D is letting guys slip through, but scoring that many times in the same location in one game? The book is out.
Lundqvist has had an amazing career but it would not surprise me one bit if this is part of the downswing in his career.

.920% in 65 games in the regular season. Hardly signs of him being done. Yeah, he's had a pretty sh**y playoff series, but then so have most of the Rangers skaters.
Just think this being the sign of his decline is a tad premature given the regular season he's just had. Think they have way bigger problems than Lundqvist.

Ouch, Rangers haven't had a first round pick in three years and they don't have one this year either.

What an awful series this was. Over as soon as Lundqvist took it in the eye.

It was over before that. NYR had trouble generating quality scoring chances all series. Goals in the series were 21-10 Pitt. This one wasn't even close whether Lundqvist got poked in the eye or not.

And some on-ice changes, seriously? Lundquist isnt part of the problem, the problem is too many top-dollar floaters. Nash, Staal, Brassard, hell, even Zuccarello only had 61 points and he lead the team and makes just barely more than half of Nash and Staal's salaries.
It looks like a team put together by Glen Sather.

Funny how a lot of us thought this was going to be a 6-7 game series

Fleury would have extended this one.

So if Fleury recovers for the next series, do you start him?
And Fleury gets game 1 and loses (even if he's stellar) do you pull him?

I wouldn't start him, but I think the Penguins will.
I would pull him for sure if he lost the first game, but I don't think the Penguins will.

Rangers are similar to the Habs in that they are only as good as their goaltender and when he's not stealing games they are very ordinary. Simply no game breakers on that roster.

I don't know man, Murray looks hot right now. I don't think you pull a hot goalie just because of seniority. Fleury won't care either really. Wins are wins and you always ride the hot hand.
EDIT: I think the Pens roll with Murray until he loses, then go to Fleury if healthy.

At least as of media reports today, Fleury is still dealing with concussion symptoms, so unlikely he plays anytime soon.
Hopefully, anyway.

Many thought that last year too and it was the Rangers who won it in 5 games and Fleury was in net.
