Havent been watching, was the delay of game penalty for the fans throwing stuff?
Yes. The PA announcer even got tired of it, telling the fans and I'm quoting here, "Show some class, this is Philly...not somewhere else in the NHL". Went as far as to tell them "Way to go" when announcing the penalty.
Flyers need to learn how to pk. Would've made for a lot closer series. Orlov play was unlucky. bellemare looked seriously concerned right after the hit -- not goon ish at all. Just a gross play where bellemare is finishing a check but orlov has slowed down at a terrible distance from the boards and ducked his head forward.
Really impressed with backstrom. He's the glue on that top line and power play.
Wow, just saw the highlights. What a #### show. From what I read the tailgating started in the early afternoon. Half the place was drunk by 5. Disgusting behaviour.
That's some ugly stuff. Not surprised in the slightest, although I wonder when Philly fans will ever start to hold each other accountable for this stuff. I'm sure a lot don't condone it, but they don't do much to stop it either.
