If the Flames look like they'll make the playoffs in March, it would mean that they are already playing well so why mess with things and bring in Iginla?
If they are on the bubble by the deadline, then surely there are better options than Iginla to help with the playoff push.
Actually, I think the only situation where I would bring in Iginla is if the Flames were clearly going to miss the playoffs so he can finish his career as Flame.

Can't be any worse that Jagr was on the ice, plus he is 100 times more physical than Jagr.
The PP would also be upgraded.
If he comes to play, you know he will be extremely motivated.
I bet what ever team takes a chance on Iginla will be rewarded.
