Deep down I was kind of hoping he wouldn't sign just so I could watch the world burn as CP implodes.
JK, this is awesome news! 4 years later we'll finally get a real glimpse at the kind of player that he is going to become. A 6 ft 4 200lbs+ C. What an asset to have. I only pray he develops more of a mean streak in him then some of the taller guys on our team. Either way, Treliving proves once again that he's one of the best negotiators in the entire league.
Great day for Jankowski and a great day for Flames' fans.

Jankowski will not be available for tonight's Stockton game. First condition of his new contract is to ride the bus from Providence, RI to Stockton, CA. This was a sticking point to negotiations as it was not clear whether that bus ride was to be by Greyhound or via municipal services. Jankowski's represntatives were concerned about the number of transfers it might take to traverse the continental US using municipal services so they held out for Greyhound service. Shrewd move!
