Given that it was a WR hurt, and he was on the way off of the field, makes no sense if it was any coach, nevermind the linebackers coach who had no reason to be out there. Except it's Joey Porter who was there just to stir up crap.

Wow, what a freaking crazy ending in Cincy. When Pittsburgh QB threw an interception I thought the game is over. I turned around and heard Hill fumbled the ball and Steelers recovered. I am glad Big Ben came back because his backup is crap. That Burfect's penalty was dumb and unnecessary. Why the heck does he think he need to hit Brown let alone with his shoulder on the head when the pass was incomplete? Very selfish play. Adam Jones' penalty is another selfish penalty. So I guess Hill is not the only one to blame for the lost.

refs let it get out of hand. if they call the penalty on the Shazier hit it's all good. The Bengals don't go crazy.

Head heat was brutal and will be a suspension
Don't put your hands on the other teams coach after your team gets a penalty for almost taking someones head off, honestly WTF did he expect

A position coach shouldn't be on the field talking to the ref ever.

It was late no matter what kind of hit it was. Ball was well overthrown so it was just so unnecessary on every level. Any tackle in bounds at that point is game over, so giving them 15 (and then 15 more) yards for nothing but a revenge hit I guess. Just a total meltdown.

So a player that also shouldn't be there should push him...its a STUPID penalty and an obvious one from a guy who has done stupid things his whole career

i was originally pulling for the Bengals as i think players like Dalton and AJ green and other are classy players but after watching Burfect and the other thugs and their behavior, i am glad the Steelers won. if i am Mike Brown, Lewis is gone, that team needs a culture change... and burfict would be released or traded

LOL, he takes the kickoff and runs it out . . . and wastes what little time they have. That's the kind of team you're looking at.

This. Shazier forced a fumble by knocking a guy out after leading with the crown of his helmet. The announcers got it wrong. Receiver or runner doesn't matter, that's an illegal hit.

You can see the replay where he sees the ball is overthrown, play is over and he still lowers his shoulder and targets his head. It's a clear and obvious head shot.

Think Denver beats Pitts at mile high next week. Best case scenario with Roth being injured

If it is Ben in his current state, versus Peyton it'll be fun watching a game where the QBs can only throw 10-15 yards. Sort of like my nephews pee-wee games.

the only way to remove these stupid head shots is to go back to leather helmets, you watch games and very few players know how to tackle anymore, they constantly lead with their heads.... might be extreme but these players dont get it. the fact that a players hasnt been killed on the field in the NFL is shocking to me... hope Brown is ok

Bengals really seem like the perfect team for Jon Gruden to come back for. A team that's right there but just needs the right coach.

Bigger issue is Brown being out.
Ben is fine, at least no more banged up then he was coming into the game. He's cried wolf so many times on injuries you don't know which are real and which are usual knocks that he dramatizes and plays up in game and during the week.
The fact that he didn't come back for the drive where Burifict caught the INT, then, after the Bengals fumble it the next play, he's back in the next play?
Denver knows how to close out games. McCarron almost beat the Steelers down from 15, I suspect Manning and the Denver D can do a bit better.

What a gross way for a game to end. It was surreal watching the last few minutes. Shame that in all the madness we're forgetting that we got to witness a guy catch a TD with his ass tonight.
