Flames started out really strong, but fell back into their bad habits as the period wore on. Not good. Need to come out with more fire in their bellies in the 2nd.

Yeah he's definitely trying. He's got great speed, he gets the puck, takes into the zone with speed, along the boards or into the corner........and then the play dies.

Flames did not play well in the back half of the period, mostly because of the crazy deep back-check and puck support from the Rangers forwards in their end. Really outmanning the Flames.

Something about Russell is that he always hold the puck too long in our own zone and when he does something, its shooting it pass the neutral zone hoping for someone to deflect and chase it in. Gotta make those passes are at least give it to Hamilton. I barely see him pass it to him.

It is really a time for Treliving to do his ####ing job and Billy Beane some of Hartley's guys. This team will be better when Raymond, Russell,Wideman and Hiller are playing elsewhere, and it doesn't matter what the return is at this point. Just move these guys so Hartley can't play them.
