Ya, unfortunately we will have to hear a lot about this kid for years to come. Especially when watching games on sportsnet!

I stopped watching after the 2nd. It just felt so creepy, with the camera zeroing in on his face at all times. It's just way over the top.

There is no way you would see the same level of fan boyism from Ball/Hrudey. They are much more professional than these ETown clowns

Unfortunately Canada media is creepy that way. Remember when Crosby was hurt and training to come back? Could you imagine if he played for a Canadian team?

I bet if you look at mentions, it's about 20 to 1. Nice try though

Oilers are swiss cheeze in their own end.

They look great in spurts when their top end offensive guys have the puck in the attacking end, but beyond that they are way, way too unbalanced as a team.

Even Robbie Fabri scores before McDavid. I kind of feel bad because McDavid seems like a really nice kid. But wall to wall coverage, including commercials and intermissions...really?

the McDavid mentions are even making the "18 year old Sam Bennett" one's last year seem small

I tried to get away from the McDavid love fest for a few minutes by flipping over to the Texans vs. Colts game.

McDavid commercial.
