Great job and helped the Astros out too (yay).
But man, really hope the Jays can avoid the wild card game. Just need the Yankees to start dipping again.

Bringing in Thole to catch for Dickey is an excellent move IMO.

Not really, your best players being your best players is completely necessary to win this division.

Be greedy at this point, I say. I want Tulo rolling and Martin healthy for the postseason. And Goins crushing dingers.

Sabathia also left the game with pain in his knee. Same one he had surgery on and will undergo a MRI.

This is great, that's the type of innings we need to have. The big 3 - 5 innings are great, but in the past week (minus yesterday) they've been almost completely dry in non multiple run innings.
EDIT: Watching Tulo is certainly a little concerning. His body language suggests he feels defeated as soon as he steps up to the plate.
He's a great player though, so he likely just needs a couple at bats to go his way and I'm sure he'll be back on track.

2 users viewing, haha. There was so much promise with the Jays crowd on CP, but most completely bailed after the first two series.
Oh well, I'll still stick around and hopefully others come back as we get closer to the playoffs.

Solid inning, Mr. Dickey. Geez, hopefully it's just a one off and he pulls it together the rest of the way.

It looks like the Jays romp yesterday killed the walk up crowd for this game, lol. Looks like a solid 5 - 6k less than the first two games, ands Sunday afternoon is usually a big draw.

Yeah, must have a been a lean moment when I looked. Plus I was only counting logged in members, as lurkers can't contribute.
It'll likely pick up anyways, it was kind of an unnecessary dig.

Come on boys, you just need 50 runs over the next 8 innings to pull this out. You got this.

I'm stuck at work. Three runs at the bottom of the inning? Ugh.
