Kudos to the Raptors they played well enough to win, that's all you can say about that game. They weren't the better team but with proper officiating that's about as a close to a guarantee win as you can get.
So I guess the NBA apologizes for a third time this season to the Raptors?

I feel the same way, unfortunately.

Year after year after year I put up with this ####. If they Raptors don't say something about the NBA as an organization after this #### show, I can't support them. Take the fine and call it like it is.

But that's likely just the surface. You can just feel it with the refs, too and I don't buy that it's all a star player vs role player issue. That's there too for sure, but it's an incredible easy sport for refs to manipulate when you really watch the last quarter closely. A couple of bad calls can basically hand a win to a preferred team.
Sure incompetence is there, but I've watched enough to see lots of examples of choosing to not call something correctly over making an incompetent call. And if you read around on the internet it's pretty damning that it isn't a real sport.
When I say not a real sport, my definition is that if there's any fixing AT ALL then the whole league isn't real.

It's funny, I made this post in a general sense before those two calls, and yet my post sums up the game perfectly. Embarrassing.

Refs were bad but what really cost them the game was that 2 minute stretch at the end of the 2nd quarter where it went from a 4 point game to an 18 point game. Outside that I thought the Raps outplayed them for the most part. Brutal part is now they get Utah on a back to back. 5-0 start was nice but could be looking at 2-6 to follow it up.

Yeah, I don't like playing Utah right now, I see Gobert bothering them the same way Whiteside did... of course against Miami they had no 3-point shots falling. The shooting has been better lately, but they'll need it tonight.

Well I was coming on to say it's a really strong start for the Raps at 13 - 8, and before I could type out the post it's now 14 - 13, Jazz, haha.

Raps give up a 14 - 0 run after a strong start, complete with two awful turnovers. Talk about digging a huge hole.

Ahhh Lowry, tosses up an off angle 3 pointer at the buzzer and made it, but waited a little too long. Would have made it a two point game.

DeRozan's pretty cold tonight so far. Credit to the Raptors, just took the lead after being down by as much 10 just a few minutes ago. Playing really well right now.

The Raptors have to be one of the dumbest teams in the league from a shot selection/game management perspective. Why the hell do they continually jack up poor Percentage shots with 20 seconds left on the shot clock with a 5 point lead?
