Not using the veto tonight was a cop out. Why not make a real power move and back door Vanessa?

Because if anyone outside of Austwins wins HoH they would go after Vanessa first. She's their meat shield.
It'd be funny if it backfired though. I do hope if Vanessa wins HoH, she does find out that they were considering backdooring her and she puts them up.
If Julia was that upset about Liz's hickey, she is going to lose her mind when she finds out about the stuff Liz and Austin have apparently been doing on the live feeds.
From Reddit. Gross, but funny.

Man I just hate the people in the house this season (outside of James).
There is literally a solid group of 3 people and NO ONE has the peanuts to take them out. I just don't get it.

Yeah, it's really strange. Huge opportunity to break up the power threesome of Austin and the Twins but everyone seems too flakey and scared to do anything. Vanessa is such an emotional basket case. James was 100% about how he and her play the game, James just does it/Vanessa overplays everything, and she almost freaks out and starts crying again.
Voting Meg out tonight makes no sense.
Enjoying the season though, usually by now I'm totally checked out.

When James was explaining how Vanessa plays too hard I knew right away that she was going to blow up and true to form she started getting upset. She's really paranoid and hard to deal with and she wonders why she's alone in the house.

She's so convinced she plays logical when every word out of her mouth is so emotional laden.

One of the twins (not sure which one) literally said to Vanessa, they were a group of three and Vanessa completely missed it.
I haven't watched every episode this season, but from what I have seen I want James to win. Meg, Jon and Steve are too dumb to realize they need to break up Austin and the twins and I find Austin super creepy. The twins just annoy me for some reason as well.

I don't mind Vanessa and her craziness. She's playing a good strategic game but her social game is horrible. I don't know if she would get enough jury votes to win in the final 2.
Would love to see the votes flip to keep Meg but everyone is too scared to take a shot at Austwins. I really want one of them to go tonight in the double. If they survive tonight their odds are pretty great as they're half of the final six. It's crazy that no one has caught them playing all sides of the house.
I like James and JMac but they're not great strategic players. James' story about the birth of his daughter was hilarious. I really like his friendship with Meg too.
At least there isn't an obvious winner by this point, keeps things interesting. I loved that veto comp last night, haven't seen that before.

You're not the only one.
Can't believe he had a girlfriend for 2 years going into the house.

Not a good result tonight....guess I'm hoping Johnny Mac wins.
Austwins are sitting very pretty right now.

Well damn. That sucked in every way possible. Steve should've flipped. James flopping on that veto was sad to watch.
It's 3 vs 3 now, but Vanessa is in a very good position as she can float between the two sides.

Everyone but the austwins are playing like idiots.
Can Vanessa not see that she's playing for 4th place if the austwins aren't broken up?
Johnny, Steve or James are gone tonight, then the austwins will continue with the other two next week, and on until it's down to three.
The only really interesting thing left undecided is whether the final two will be the twins, or Austin and Liz.

The twins don't get a lot of credit but Liz is actually doing really well in the competitions. I'm actually hoping for a final three of the twins with Liz winning HOH and has to decide between Austin and Julia.
I know he's not popular but I like Austin. He's one of the biggest dudes to ever play in the house but he's never used his size to bully or intimidate anyone and has been one of the few players to not get overly emotional or confrontational.
As for Vanessa I don't mind her but she's one of those people that's kind of in denial about herself. If she got to the final two I could see voters going both ways with some saying she played the best game having a hand in a lot of evictions or some feeling she bullied her way though the game.

I am done with the season.
How do you let a tight alliance of 3 last this long? Or even let the second twin into the house? Ridiculous.

It blows me away.
I guess next week is the final week Vanessa can potentially pull her head out of her ass, and team up with John and Steve to break up the austwins...provided one of those three can actually win HoH.
If that happens, you put up the twins, and if one wins veto, let it be known that Austin is the replacement, and hope like hell he doesn't win veto.

James made himself the single biggest threat in the house that's why. Outside of Meg there's nobody in the house that would feel comfortable working with him as he's shown he will put anyone up and that he will go back on his words. Telling everyone (and backing it up I might add) you are the person that's going to make big moves and break promises isn't sound strategy in house where paranoia runs rampant. IMO things worked out perfectly last night for the remaining houseguests as now it's set 3 against 3 as the wildcards are removed.

I would hope that Vanessa is planning on breaking away and actually making it 3 on 3 though. She probably should have flipped last week, but didn't.
There may be fewer wildcards on the table, but now everything comes down to chance (whoever wins HoH) essentially, and considering how well the twins and Austin have been playing, I don't like Steve/Johnny/Vanessa's chances.

But from Vanessa's point of view, if you can get rid of Liz then you can pretty much make a final two with everyone else left in the house. She's been hoping that Steve/Jmac would do her dirty work for her in terms of getting Liz out and that's why she's been holding out.

So what happened to the summer of Big Brother takeovers? They did it the first two weeks but nothing since.

It's all going to come down to competitions now as it usually does at the end. From the beginning of the season to now really Steve is the only person I'm a little surprised made it this far.
