Did I hear a promotional bit on the FAN that said "Connor McDavid and the next crop of Flames prospects" or something to that effect? He's getting higher billing than our own prospects on a Flames radio station?

Oliver isn't far and has the best wine in the valley IMO. There isn't a bottle I don't like at Desert Hills and Fairview Cellars is the diamond in the rough

The thought of Bennett in blue and copper makes me want to vomit.
But yes, absolutely. I would also trade Bennett for Jack Eichel straight up.
That is basically like "Toews for Young Crosby/Young Jagr" straight up. No-brainer.

I'd trade Bennett for Mcdavid but the eichel one would be a tougher decision for me. I think eichel will be good but I just love Bennetts game. Reminds me of Corey Perry in a way.

In Penticton and excited to see the prospects. The weather is kick ass as well.
Bennett for Eichel or McDavid is a no-brainer. I'd even throw in a free weekly pass to the Stampede with unlimited pancakes.

I stayed there a few years back with a group of friends. Rented out the penthouse at $900/night.
It was awesome, and I highly recommend it. The penthouse is a 2 bedroom, so sleeps 2 couples comfortably, and there's a living room where an extra 2 can crash a bit less comfortably. In the result, the price becomes pretty reasonable, and it's a gorgeous place to stay.
The wine is definitely solid, though perhaps not as spectacular as in years past given the price, but there are so many wine alternatives in the immediate area that it doesn't matter.
Now that I think about it, I might look into booking this again next summer...

i was just doing a favourite past time... searching 'calgary flames' on ebay and there is a guy out of ontario that has these for $95 + $13 shipping (in canada)
just thought i'd pass that on

Usually beginning of summer after draft. It's always the second weekend of September
