Good penalty killing by the Capitals, but, relying on that can be costly as Green took consecutive penalties. The Capitals have not had a two goal lead through out this series. The last time that happened was in game five of the first round.

Damn, as much as I ragged on Glencross, this is a little heartbreaking as I always figured this was a mutually good decision; We get younger and a couple of draft picks and he gets to leave, show what he's got and sign a final, multi-year deal.

At this rate he's going to be lucky to get a contact. I mean, I'm sure he will, but after this season he's probably looking at a one year, $600 - $900k contract.

It's amazing how he went from basically saying "I've given discounts in the past but this summer I'll be looking for what I'm worth" and many on CP thinking that would be 4 years, $4mil or whatever, and now he's fallen off the NHL map.

Agreed, I'm in that boat too. When he first went to WSH he had a pretty good scoring streak, and everyone on CP was saying how they wish Glenny all the best and a big payday. Seems like everything just dried up after that.

I still wish all the best for Glenny, but the best for him now is probably a 1 year contract somewhere. Yikes.

I've heard it on good authority that he's (Glencross) thinking retirement, but me and another friend think it's just him whining.

That was a head shot. It was so obvious I keep thinking there should be a power play right now but they haven't noticed the Caps playing with an extra man.

The elbow didn't look intentional, but that was definitely aimed at the head

Could be just my imagination, seems like they want a caps penalty at every whistle.

First period cap got a high stick in the face and they basically told him to toughen up, they aren't getting a 5 on 3 in a game 7. Seemed ridiculous, maybe just bad comments, but not favourable ones.

I would agree but Orpik is like Matt Cooke. A long history of injuring players on dirty hits means he gets no benefit of the doubt from me.
