I'm surprised the Speith and Mcilroy pairing havent been given a time warning. Speith is so slow

Brutal three putt for Matsuyama with a chance to tie the lead.

Just seeing the hilights. Is Langer just not anchoring the long putter?

I was wondering that. Even if he is just barely not touching his chest, you'd think he might come close to accidently doing it after anchoring for so many years.

Matsuyama really fell apart after that three putt. Jordan could be well ahead if he keeps himself out of trouble to finish.

So looks like it will be Smylie in the final group tomorrow. Did they say his brother's name is Lucky? Hippy parents

I think it between Day and Spieth, Matsuyama with an outside shot, heck anyone within four shots not named Bernie or Dustin has a shot. I think it'd be great if Speith went wire to wire, back to back, gotta think he'll be back under par tomorrow, just a matter of how much and what it'll take. I think he was lucky to finish bogey double bogey, he's gotta hit fairways tomorrow, somone will make a charge and the back nine showed us again today that this thing could turn around fast.

You dont think Langer has a shot?

No one on the leader board knows the course better than he does who also has the experience to not succumb to pressure. Im definately cheering for him and give him a decent chance. It would be awesome in this day and age of young long bombers, to see a precision/skill guy get it done.

I cant stand Spieth and how friggin long he takes to make a shot. It almost makes the tourney unwatchable.

Have never heard the name Smylie Kaufman until yesterday. Happy Gilmours long lost cousin?

So far today the scores are rather benign (though most havent hit amen corner yet)....so unless the wind picks up(and its not likely to) there could be some lower scores posted.

Should be fun.

No way they even consider putting Spieth on the clock today. But he's so slow you wonder if there ends up being a playoff, will they even have time for more than one hole? Finished at nearly 5:30 yesterday which was ridiculous. Great player obviously but the slow play is really annoying.

I think that pace of play should be monitored on all rounds. You shouldn't have an almost unlimited clock. Sunday or not he should maintain a reasonable pace.

Duthie just mentioned that Weir, nor any of the winners, get to keep their jackets. Wtf? Why not?

they keep them kind of, they just cant take them off the property unless they are the current Masters champion if i am not mistaken.

each winner is given their own locker at Augusta and that is where the jacket resides.

That's right, they get it for a year then have to give it back. Seems bizarre to me.

Im not sure if Speith was ever put on the clock last year, but I thought I read he was given a warning? And I don't remember him being this painfully meticulous last year. I can imagine it was driving Mcilroy nuts yesterday who seems to play much quicker (perhaps to a fault sometimes)

Kjeldsen is the only one really making a run. Final pairing just got called out on broadcast for playing the third really slow. seems like Kaufman is another slow player.

I get there is no real gamesmanship in golf but wouldn't the smart thing to do if paired with Speith be to play a tad slow also and get him put on the clock?
