This is starting to slip away fast. Unbelievable winning % by everyone we are chasing! and the Flames starting to stumble a bit giving away points to lesser teams is resulting in us losing a playoff spot that's been ours for the bulk of the year.
Lots left to play, but just so hard to believe Winnipeg or LA will cool off and so hard to see us doing better than 500 on this road trip even if they play well. Man it's tough down the stretch, too many good teams.

Maybe Montreal is tanking to finish 2nd in the division so they play Detroit instead of a red hot Ottawa.

So that when we face them both in the final two games of the season and make the comeback to define all comebacks, it feels good?
I'll go with that. While I be depressed over in this corner.

Out of the the 2 and 3 division teams, the wild card teams and the 9th and 10th place teams last ten games (80 total) the combined record is 50-22-8. This race is crazy..

On the bright side, the Kings will most likely play Vancouver in the first round and sweep them.

Yeah, but this demonstrates why they needed to rest Price.
The Habs without Price are a lottery team. From their perspective, an out of conference game is the ideal time to rest him and keep him fresh so he can continue to steal points for them.
On the bright side, we're one of the few teams that beat the crap out of Price, so there is that.

Is it too much to ask for these good teams to win a game??? That's what's so annoying! At least the other day I expected Edmonton and Toronto to lose! This is so frustrating.

My brother is visiting in town and me him and my dad are all watching the Jets like the old days. And they're winning. So happy right now. A good night.

The Kings and Jets are saving two of their biggest losses for game 81 in the case of the Kings and game 82 in the case of the Jets -as the Flames slide into a playoff slot!

Think our playoff chances are done. Were barely hanging on while everyone else continues to win.

Nah. Their not quite THAT bad. They'd be more or less around where Boston and Ottawa is right now. They're borderline playoff/non-playoff team without Price.
