That is a horrible depiction of a seagull. You can tell they're not owned by Disney anymore.

They should have just flipped the Ducks' duck foot "D" and made it a gull foot "G".

I disagree, I like when AHL teams have a similar name but their own identity and not just rip off the parent club. Kind of like the Heat did. I hate the fact that our AHL team is called the Flames and uses the exact same jersey's.

Glad they went with their historical hockey name. San Diego and the Gulls use to be a big hockey town and I guess still is.

It's basically the same logo as the WCHL/ECHL San Diego Gulls (1995-2006) with updated lettering. It's what Bush League Factor calls a JACKAL: Just Another Crappy Kartoon Animal Logo. But evidently the new owners feel that it has some marketing value for the fans of the old team.

At least they didn't give the gull teeth.

I drove by the rink in Stockton the other day, and it is a pretty sweet looking building. Reminds me of the Pepsi Center for some reason (or whatever the rink is called nowadays in Denver)

I plan on catching a few ice hockey matches once the new team arrives at said fancy rink. Hopefully it is as nice on the inside as it is out.

The Ontario Reign have told their season ticket holders the Pacific Division is expected to play 68 games next year.

Rest of AHL plays 76.
