Flames still having trouble clearing the zone. Clearly this is something they'll need to work on going forward. It's starting to bite them in the arse.

Except Jones stick went up as he was checked, and it barely grazed Phaneuf. It's a pretty ####ty call period.

Goals have been called back with that motion before though I'll grant that the rule clarification of 'distinct' is going to be subjective. For me, watching it and in replays, it looks 'distinct' as in the leg was moved to the kick the puck into the net off the outside of the skate. It's moot at this point.
