It's like switching from decaf to normal coffee. Nothing to be proud of and it gives you a bit of life.

@DarrenWHaynes: Karri Ramo is 1st #Flames goalie to post back-to-back shutouts on the road since Mike Vernon on Dec. 14 & 15, 1992. (3-0 vs Det, 3-0 vs NYR)

I actually remember those games.

That's gotta be very reassuring. If he didn't invest his own time properly what chance did your money have.

Anyone have the video or gif of Hudler pissed off at the shot he took to the ribs?

I think Kypreos has a man-crush on the Flames.

Actually, I think he really enjoys seeing a bunch of young guys work their butts off as compared to the entitled, lazy, skill players he sees on the leafs.

Small but maybe overlooked note... thought both Ferland and Baertschi were much more noticeable then their minimal ten minutes of ice time tonight. Both played well with what they were given.

Then he's not a "huge" Oilers fan to be jumping to a heated (and only) rival when chips are down.

Reminds me of so called Flames "fans" justifying cheering for the Oilers when they made it to playoffs and Calgary didn't.

Or, he's trying to get some more money out of you by saying what you'd like to hear...

I didn't catch the game, but caught the post game show. As I look at the boxscore though, did we really get worked as badly in the faceoff circle as it shows?

18 wins, 32 lost draws?

Ramo, Hudler, Brodi, Gaudreau, Ferland, Giordano, I don't know who to single out

Screw it, you had a good game, and you had a good game, and you had a good game! EVERYBODY HAD A GOOD GAME!

Yup. Both players looked good. I'd say Ferland looked a little better than Sven, but they didn't look out of place.

im surprised it's been 5 games and Ferland has yet to visit the penalty box.

I really have high hopes for him and love the way he has brought his game this season. When he said he wanted to be the MVP of the rookie tournament, and then delivered, it got me really excited.

Tonight's broadcast shows how much the broadcast team is gelling. Well done by everyone, they are comfortable, relaxed and seem to be getting along.

Haven't watched the game yet... about to on NHL Game Centre, but I saw Ramo got another shutout.

Nevermore. Never score.
