How 'bout those Cubbies! 20 wins in last 24 & beating up on Cain tonight! Great stretch considering four rookies in the starting lineup.

I just don't see Miami being the other team in the series though.

Dodgers get no-hit for the second time in a week.

Nice offence you got there, guys.

There will be a new champion this year unless SF can win series in LA this week.

Paplebon going after Bryce Harper in the Nats dugout.

Glad AA stayed away from that terrible out of shape pitcher at the deadline.

Seems as if Harper didn't like Papelbon plunking Machado earlier in the week because he figured he'd get plunked the next day.

Today it looks like Papelbon had his chance to get him back by getting mad at him for not running out a pop out.

And they're both clowns. Paplebon is and always been a certified a-hole.

Angels win their 5th in a row. Look out Houston. We're back in business!

Also, I hate the Texas Rangers.

Papelbon's talent is not worth his antics

I was at the Angels game on Friday. Fun park... good atmosphere.

And as far as Harper-Papelbon goes, I'm entirely on Harper's side there. Papelbon has been behaving like a total idiot the last week - even by his already low standards. Honestly, if I'm the Nationals and I see that guy attack my star, I send him home today. Though the team is screwed in some respects because he has a year left on his contract for big money.

This doesn't help a clubhouse that is already totally disfunctional.

It never ceases to amaze me that some people think that 'chemistry' is some esoteric, figment of other peoples' imaginations.

Two wild card teams qualified for the WS last year. The "best" teams on paper don't always succeed in the playoffs.

There are fewer home runs on cool evenings. Bullpens have to be good.

^ Or he's signing with the Diamondbacks. 6 years, no word on money but you gotta think it's $35 million per or more to sign in Arizona instead of LA or SF.
