It's actually a surprisingly well respected college for various programs. A Christian or religious college is far from a novel concept. They exist all over the USA and most will have similar rules around alcohol and abstinence. I just don't think the Law Society should uphold their exclusionary practices.

TWU is in fact an American university that was given permission to operate in Canada. A large number of their students actually come from Washington state.

Not so much anymore. There were high numbers of US students in the mid–late nineties, but that changed when the dollar started to crest over $0.85. I suppose with a weak Canadian dollar now the trend of cross-border students is liable to increase, but so far I haven't seen it on campus. There are only two American students in my class of 25 this semester.
