Oh, I agree. Germany are hurting badly right now in terms of injuries. The only regular in their midfield is Kroos. I believe that Gomez is injured...again.

Even still, Germany dominated but got caught being too aggressive and conceded on the counter. The Poles played their game plan to perfection.

Polands win against Germany won't mean much if they slip against Scotland this Tuesday.

That game is huge and will probably be a pretty touch match for both sides.

Def going out to watch that one!

I sincerely doubt that Luxembourg are going to light him up.

If Del Bosque had any sense he'd be playing Casillas against Luxembourg and De Gea against the bigger teams.

Granted, Spain are in such a sweetheart group, on top of every team qualifying, that it really doesnt matter.

Those blancos clowns, are tapping him up now. His contract expires in 18 months, and he just had his first start for Spain in real competition.

United is going to have to make him the world's highest paid keeper.

Iceland with a 2-0 lead over Holland.

I think Iceland's captain is actually just that dude's beard.

Haha no worries man, if you recall I was cheering hard for Germany with you during the World Cup.

1 - Poland/Canada
3 - Germany

And since the first two rarely matter, especially in Soccer, than you can bet that I cheer for Germany like crazy.

Why? Are you German also?

Just seems strange from a sporting perspective to have your biggest rivals as your second team.

Jebus. Absolute mayhem in the Serbia/Albania game.

Flares on the pitch, then a Gyrocopter with a banner (which I presume was Albanian) flying over the heads of the players. A Serb player grabs the banner and the Albanians take offence and a scuffle ensues.

Match currently suspended.

I'm 100% Polish (my entire family is polish through and through) and I speak Polish but I was born in Germany and moved to Canada when I was 3. Since Poland and Canada are both pretty useless at soccer (Especially when I was a kid) I latched on to Germany as my main team for international soccer at a very early age and have been cheering them on ever since.

My allegence to them is only beat by my two "home" countries.

Kroos finally gets a goal on a night where the Germans just seem tired and frustrated and can't produce anything.

Germans are usually clinical in qualifying but with so many starters out they look lifeless.

The Serbia/Albania match has been abandoned. They didn't get to the 45 minute mark. Any idea what the protocol is for something of this nature in qualifiers?
