As per the Adirondack Q&A on Twitter this morning, they are expected to release the jerseys and other merchandise in the next 3-4 weeks. Once released, they will be shipping to all of the US and Canada.

Those of us in Calgary should have no issues getting a jersey or other merchandise.

Yeah no doubt; Sieloff's return, Wotherspoon wisened up and playing top minutes, the Kulaculkin tandem I think will be on the AHL - forgot whether they were eligible though. Cundari just got signed, Acolatse the face-puncher, the rest.

Problem is, the ultimate guru defence coach is now the new head coach of the Rockets, so while we've got a solid head coach, the team in Glens Falls isn't going to become the NHL d-man factory we originally thought.

However, they have to find some experienced D. They have lost all of the vets (Breen, Smith, O'Brien and Billins) and now only have the kids (Wotherspoon, Sieloff, Kulak, Culkin, Cundari and Acolatse).

Tons of talent in that group, and plenty to be excited about. But it's a long season and they need a couple vets to anchor and stabilize things for when the inevitable rough spots hit.

My concerns as well. I'm hoping the Flames sell off some NHL vets and better our defensive and Right sided prospect depth, all while stacking Andironack for a Calder Cup run. Maybe a Stajan for Gernat or Musil swap if Monahan and Backs look like they can legitimately hold the fort down?

Re Captaincy: I vote for Jooris or Ramage.

Yeah, it's going to be a young team and may struggle for the playoffs. Thinking of a leader with some experience and talent could be Reinhart although he's not your typical AHL vet.

I wonder if this Mathieu Tousignant fellow that Adirondack signed is going to be a Bancks replacement. They put up about the same offensive numbers and they both play a pesky/energetic type of game. They're essentially the same age as well.

I'm just wondering if this guy's signing means the end to Bancks' time in the Flames organization.

Bancks also isn't big and seemed to have a tough time staying healthy.

I have been wondering the same, but to expand on that thought it seems like the Flames have cut ties with the entire Heat leadership group in one summer. Could this perhaps be a case where they were seen as "Ward's guys"? I liked Bancks and all but sometimes it seemed as if he was played far too much.

Looks like the Flames ended their affiliation with the Aces.. Colorado Eagles are now the affiliated ECHL club.

Glens Falls, NY – The Adirondack Flames today announced that they will face the Utica Comets in a home-and-home pre-season exhibition series on October 3 and 4. The two teams will face off at the John F. Kennedy Civic Arena in Rome, NY on Friday, October 3 before they visit the Glens Falls Civic Center the following night, Saturday, October 4, for the first home game in Flames’ franchise history. Both games are scheduled to start at 7:00 p.m.

Individual tickets for the Flames’ home game will be on sale beginning Monday, September 29, at $10 dollars for adults and $5 for youth 14 and under. Group ticket packages (15 or more tickets) are also available for $7 per ticket and fundraising packages are available at $5 per ticket.

The Everett Silvertips of the Western Hockey League are proud to announce that Athletic Trainer Marc Paquet has been hired to work in the Calgary Flames’ organization, where he will become head trainer for the Adirondack Flames of the American Hockey League. Located in Glens Falls, New York, the new Adirondack Flames replace the Abbotsford Heat as Calgary’s primary affiliate this fall.

“Marc has done a great job for us in three seasons and while we’re disappointed to lose him, we are very excited that he’s getting an opportunity to advance his career with the Flames,” said General Manager Garry Davidson. “Our level is all about people getting experience to grow and develop, whether it’s players, coaches or members of our support staff. I know Marc came here looking to do just that and advance to the next level, and we're glad to see him get that chance.”

Paquet, 27, joined the Silvertips and Integrated Rehabilitation Group prior to the 2011-12 WHL season. A native of Scarborough, Maine, he received his Athletic Training degree from the University of New England in 2009 and earned his Master of Education in Kinesiology from Bowling Green State University two years later. With Adirondack, Paquet will oversee the health of Calgary’s NHL prospects – many of whom are WHL graduates. Prior to the NHL and AHL seasons, he is expected to work with Flames prospects during next month’s 2014 Young Stars Classic tournament in Penticton, BC.

Not sure what that means for Mike Thompson.
