There's some weird sound in the Abbotsford arena.
It sounds like fans...cheering on the team.
Edit: Official attendance is 3,276. One of the larger crowds of the season!

Great to see legit big league prospects like Baertschi, Reinhart and Knight making such a big difference at such an important time in Abbotsfords season. I would love to see at least 2 of those guys play full time for the Flames next season.

I don't know how to word this aside from that was the first interview from Baertschi this year while playing with the Heat where he sounded like a mature young man, not a kid lost in the AHL.
He definitely sounds like he's gotten his stuff together in these last few games.

A tidbit I found interesting was (paraphrasing)
I'm not gonna change my game. It's what gave me success before and it always will.
Sounds to me like he's adamant about his style

That comment comes from him alot. I could probably point to a few interviews with that exact same comment from him. And actually the comment that worries me quite a bit about him because it seems like he's resistant to change/learn/adapt.

I think that goes along with what flames management has been saying about him. Asking him to work on his defensive game has nothing to do with keeping the way he thinks and plays in the offensive zone in tact.

I hear what you're saying, but he really seems adamant in saying this in most of the interviews I've seen. Like he's making a point of it

Or he's being asked about it in most interviews you see. Because in most of these we can't hear the question well if at all

You could hear this question, it was "what has changed since you started playing so well?".
Look, I'm not saying this is Sven being stubborn, just saying that subjectively, it seems that way
