The bad: Hamelin crashing yet again in the 500 m heat, Robanske crashing out of his QF in snowboard cross after leading 2/3 of the heat, and Hill not finishing in his semi in Snowboard cross as well.
Definitely still some opportunity for Canada to win some gold medals. We still have ski cross, Mens and women's Curling, Mens and Womens hockey, ladies ski half pipe, and snowboard slalom as well.

Yeah, realistically our best remaining chances are:
- Ice Hockey (Men and Women's)
- Curling (Men and Women's)
- Bobsleigh (Women's)
- Ski Half-Pipe (Women's - Rosalind Groenewoud has been on the podium the last four X-Games)
- Ski Cross (Women's: Thompson has been solid all year, Serwa is inconsistent but talented)
And the ones where we are either close to or are considered outside shots:
- Men's Ski Cross (Our issue here is consistency - Delbosco and Duncan are wildly inconsistent, Leman has had some good performances this year)
- 500m Short Track - Men's (Olivier Jean, when he's on)
- 1000m Short Track - Women's (Maltais is our best shot)
- Speed Skating - Women's/Men's Team Pursuits (Women are our best shot, they have a 2nd place on the world cup this season)
- Snowboarding Parallel Slalom, Ladies (Caroline Calve has a win this year)
To me, that looks like a likely 7-8 medals, plus or minus how we actually do. I predicted 27 medals and I hope we reach it, but I think we might finish at 25.
