Kass is screwed now. She could have voted Jeffra, had both idols flushed, and voted Sarah out next week when they had the numbers 6-4. Now she's at the bottom of the barrel on the other tribe, doesn't make sense. Voted with her emotions instead of her head.

Great tribal, though. One of the best ones in a long time.

Stupid, stupid move by Cass and let her emotions get the best of her. Now her old tribe, who were all tight with her, are pissed at her and there's no way she wins the game now. Exciting, but so so stupid.

She seems to have had it in her head that her tribe had basically turned on her and were now praising Sarah. She should have seen that they were just courting her for the vote.. from such a high IQ fan of the game it seems like a really bone headed play.

However, it was highly entertaining for us fans and in the past Survivor has always remembered moves like that for future seasons. Jeff loves big plays and you could see the look on his face last night "Oh man has this been a good season."

Cass can make final 6 if that is how it goes down, but I imagine they vote out one or two more on the other side before the game gets flipped upside down again.. this is where it starts getting nasty as the next vote is a jury member.

Honestly though I really enjoyed watching Sarah go. I don't think she is all-star worthy at all, if anything I think her social game was incredibly bad, might be the worst one this season next to the girl who burnt the rice. It was painful watching how slowly she processed anything socially.

I wonder what the special power idol is. My guess is it's an idol that grants you two votes instead of one.

Sarah let ego get in her way last night and that was the end for her. Kass made a play out of spite.

Really looking forward to next week. I imagine the remaining brains will systematically chip away at Kass.

I really liked Kass before this episode. In this one she just seemed whiny. She was not being bullied. Her and Sarah were doing the same thing, when they were both wanting to vote someone else off. Sarah went about it poorly and it cost her. The problem with what Kass did, is very few people make it far when they are the swing vote. They usually end up on the bottom with whatever tribe they are on. Kass could have easily voted Jefra and then gotten rid of Sarah next. There's no way she wins the game.

Great episode. I'm also looking forward to the gifs of Morgan doing yoga and on the challenge.

I'm already looking forward to the reunion show to see what Kass has to say about that move. I'm assuming she'll regret it big time, but I guess we'll see.

It's actually called the "Tyler Perry Idol". I thought it would be a comment related to his terrible movies, but apparently Perry is a huge fan of the show and is the one who first thought of the idea.

While I like the concept, and the fact that it's much different then the usual idol, I don't like that it will give one of them too much power. Also why did they need to bury it at the beach? I wish they could have figured out a different way to give someone the idol rather than the normal route.

I like the idea of a random mugging and beat down if you find the clue that takes you to the super idol.

That's right, you reach into the water for it and a bear trap locks onto your arm. 5 heavily armed men come out of the woods and shoot you with a tranquilizer dart.

You wake up on the floor of a cold cell and 5 masked men basically beat the crap out of you.

then they sit you in a chair and one of the masked men sits across from you in that cool backwards chair way and holds up the super idol. He takes off his mask and its Pauley from the Sopranos'

He hands you the idol and says its a one shot deal, you whisper into it the name of the person that you want dead, and a sniper takes him or her out.

Then they throw the mask on you and drag you back to where you were.

Im a big fan of separate Reward and Immunity challenges. Next season screwed up by RI or some other gimmick that eats half the air time should use this...

Multiple hidden idols that dont grant immunity but can be traded for reward.
This would change the game making it socially acceptable to look for idols while using the best hiding spots for the actually hidden immunity idols.
With most of the players at least dedicating some time looking for reward idols or immunity idols there would be some interesting strategy as anyone could be in possession of the camps 1 hidden immunity idol.
I think this idea would also get people off there ass, and strategically make less floaters every season.

I think there should be more than one immunity idol at challenges. Especially if there are ~10 castaways.

I had only watched on season of survivor ever. I decided to watch it again this season and I am enjoying it. Has this been one of the better seasons of survivor?

I'd say it ranks right up there, one is still the best of all time because no one knew what to expect.

The best in my opinion:

Older: Season 13 (Cook Islands), Season 15 (China), Season 17 (Gabon)

Old: Season 19 (Samoa), Season 20 (HvV)

New: Season 26 (Caramoan - FvF2), Season 27 (BvW)


This season has been average, on par with 21-25
