Necks win. Poulin and defence were a wall in the 2nd half and the mini game.

Prediction: Story in the Edmonton Journal tomorrow bitching about how Edmonton should have advanced on aggregate.

Still a 2 game series.

If Buffalo win, then 1st game in Buffalo and game 2/mini game in Calgary.

If Rochester win, then 1st game in Calgary and game 2/mini game in Rochester.

Go to the home game in the final. You can thank me later.

The final is the same format. If we play Rochester, we host game one. If we play Buffalo, we host games two and three (if necessary).

Rematch of the 2004 Final? Calgary beat Buffalo in a sold-out Saddledome to win their first championship. I had seats in the first row behind the Necks bench for that game - terrible place to watch a game from, but really cool place to be when they won the championship.

There will also be a fashion section about which dress shoes go best with the new summer sweat pants. And an article about whether or not ladies need to cover up leg bruises or just go au natural.

edmonton is no good

Necks win!

TSN aired most Rock games, yes. Sportsnet has aired the Roughnecks and Rush when they had nothing else to show. But we all know how little money they actually spend on Alberta, so I'm not banking on them picking up the game in New York.

What a great series. That defense was unreal in the second half. And Poulin stood on his head. Can't wait for the finals

This has been the most insane month for the Necks...win in OT in Edmonton, then win in OT in the first round vs Colorado...win on OT in game one vs the Rush, then win in an 'OT game' to advance to the finals.

We need to cheer for Buffalo now so the final game will be played here. I was at the Dome when the Roughnecks won their last Championship and there is nothing like watching that live.

I not only enjoy lacrosse as a sport but appreciate that a league of 9 teams somehow has 3 teams from the three cities I care about sports from (Calgary, Buffalo, Rochester). Pretty cool!

Knighthawks are trying to become the first true NLL dynasty (no one else has ever won three in a row).

EDIT: I guess five wins in seven years for the Rock is pretty much a dynasty haha. But still, three in a row!

Those teams were unreal!

As great as two championships in a row is for the Knighthawks, they haven't actually had a "championship" looking team for a while now. The past two seasons they just got hot at the right time and kind of backed into the final. That's changed this year so it's nice to have two strong teams in the final.

How long does a typical game last - real time not game time. Is it like a hockey game? Roughly 2.5 hours?

A 10 minute "Mini Game" to decide the playoff series winner is a complete joke. They might as well just had a shoot out. Are the franchises that unstable that a best of three is not possible? No TV deal, even for the playoffs, and 3400 watching for free on youtube is not a good sign for the league.
