I was crying laughing for almost his entire set. So glad I got to see him.

I am so disappointed I couldn't make it. I had to give away my tickets because of a work conflict. I hope he releases a DVD of this set.

Just got home, Bill and Virzi both were absolutely fantastic!! Won't post any spoilers until after he finishes the tour, but if you didn't get to go he's back in Calgary on the 19th. DO IT!

What an absolutely horrible venue though. I was disgusted at that place. Absolute joke. Like sitting in an elementary school gymnasium. Hope he goes somewhere else when he comes back.

He's recording a special in a few weeks so what we saw was likely him testing some of the stuff he intends to put out. Can't wait to see it again.

Was a great show - good set. My wife had never heard of him before and had a blast. Hockey side note: Geoff Sanderson was in front of us during the lineup.

What was Bill's podcast where he was an "expert" but new nothing on the subjects he talked about? Did google and itunes but it only shows MMPC.

Never mind - It's "Uninformed with bill burr and joe derosa"

I only found it dropped after the mic spazzed out on him. Speaking of which, what a pro. He turned that whole thing into its own bit on shaming the microphone.

"That's the saddest thing I've ever seen." Awesome.

I saw Brendan Morrison walk by with his wife while I was waiting for my dad to show up

Got worse after that for sure, but was pretty bad before too. I can't believe they have bands play in there sometimes. Had the lovely acoustics you normally get from cold brick, combined with shoddy equipment. I liked the subtle shots he took at it too. "Concrete stage, can't even put down a ####ing carpet?"

Ultimate pro though, just rolls with the punches. That microphone bit was great, bitching about getting the wires crossed, like everything he said was said with purpose there was no wasted words or movements. Ultimate pro.

The dead mic thing was so well done part of me was suspecting a set up for a while.

I can't even say how good this show was. I saw Seinfeld live, this was better. May not mean a lot to some of you guys, but it would mean a lot to Bill I'm sure.

This was the funniest thing I have ever seen anywhere. Screen, person, period.

Best ever.

I'm listening now and was just about to say the same thing. Late show crowds are usually drunker, which can make for a fun show, but often they get too rowdy, so I usually go to early shows just to be safe.

As for the sound, it was horrible but it's par for the course at Mac Hall. What really bothered me was the disorganization at the bar. I waited 20 minutes to get beer and saw quite a few people cutting in because you couldn't tell where the line was.

Yeah that was brutal. My brother actually waited until Virzi came out and started so he could quickly run over for beers. I walked over there before, couldn't find the end of the line, and gave up. Horribly organized.

First show.

Came prepared for show line and beer line. Didn't have a problem. But yeah, they were slow.

What happened at the second show?
