Wiggins would be best basketball wise to stay another year in Kansas. He is physically going to get beaten up in the NBA at this point.
Stanford or Dayton is going to be in the elite 8 is madness

Well yeah, expectations were very high. He just didn't wow like a Carmelo or Derrick Rose or Anthony Davis where you could clearly see the superstar potential. Wiggins needs to get stronger for sure, his athleticism only goes so far when he doesn't have the physicality to match. But he's still at worst the #3 pick next year so its not like he was awful. Just as you mentioned, not up to the sky high expectations.

It's pretty awesome that in the home of the St. Louis Blues they crowd is basically in Blues colors. And that was a monster dunk.

Good first half for Wichita State but Kentucky has hit some really tough shots to keep it close.

Except for the tournament I think Derrick Rose is a great comparison. People remember that Rose was awesome in college because of his tournament. Check out his stats and see the stretch he went through without hitting 20pts. He flipped a switch and played with more intensity near tourney time. It looked like Wiggins had hit that same switch after the West Virginia game. He was awesome. Today -- different story.
Wiggins unfortunately doesn't have the benefit of the big tourney run that Rose had but I think in the regular season his flashes were really similar to Derrick.

Wiggins athleticism with Parker's intelligence/commitment would be an amazing player.
Neither were quite the super studs they were hyped as bug they both have so much potential that they look like future multiple time all-stars at the NBA level.
Not sure either wins an MVP line the hype projected at the start of the year.

Weekend is ending with a thud. Every game is lopsided right now.

I'm trying to figure out why UVA is playing in Raleigh at 10pm at night on a Sunday when there were so few afternoon games.

Gregg Marshall has won the Henry Iba coach of the year award.
Chris Jans, Marshall's top assistant at Wichita State, will be taking over the program at Bowling Green University.

This Michigan-Tennessee ending has been interesting to say the least.

Louisville did their best to make the selection committee look good. Did they ever look like a 4 seed. Fun bunch of games tonight.

The only real "dud" was the Iowa St - UConn game, and even that was entertaining. The two late games had me flipping back and forth.
