Botchford was asked by the panel last night prior to the Shark vs Van game. Surly this type of locker room talk you have heard before in all your years around NHL locker rooms after games.
This is nothing new right.
He said no. What a liar.
He was asked so you have honestly in all your time around the team, you have never heard the Vancouver Canucks say anything off color.
He again said no never (as his face was flushing red)
What a bold faced liar.
I can't stand when a sniveling turd lies and continues to lie just to support their own story.
Bothford is what he is a Van honk that has very little integrity.
We all know every team has moments like this and they are often.

Brunt talked about this on 960 this morning and was bang on. This probably erodes the trust between the players and the reporter. Or as he said - he didn't think the pop in publishing this was worth the long-term cost to the relationship.

Was this the TH panel? With LeBrun and Reda and Johnson? Because that's not what he said at all.

He said he's never seen a situation where one player is being interviewed, and another guy interjects and swears at the reporter and tells him he's never played hockey, then had 20 reporters with cameras turn towards him and had him give a comment. That's what he said he'd never seen.

Unless there was a separate panel, then speakling of bald-faced lies...

That is only part what he was asked, nice selective memory.
He was asked point blank "so you have never heard off color remarks in the Canucks locker room" ? His answer was no never. And if you saw the interview as obviously you have you know that question was asked and that was his initial short answer. The first time he replied they asked the same question twice because of disbelief of his BS answer.
The best part of that interview was when i might have been Lebrun says i hope Hertl puts 4 on the Canucks tonight and Botchford had a glare that could kill.
Lebrun was basically saying you know what Botchford i'm tired of your BS answers to a basic question.
SJ 4 Botchford and his Canucks 1... Again Big Joe 2 pts gets the last and final laugh.

The part you're talking about is at 4:15.

No I've never heard another player in a scrum shout out "shut up", use a curse word, and then ask everyone in the media, "have any of you played the game?" No, I have never seen that before. Then he engaged in a debate with Farhan, Farhan turned around to defend himself and Joe launched into his joke in front of everyone. I've never seen a situation like that.

What you said is not at all what happened. He at no point said he'd never heard the Canucks say something off colour. Your description is completely invented. The fact that you can persist in repeating your utter BS when there's VIDEO showing you're wrong is hilarious.
