The part where the Steelers are at home is why I stayed away. It will be interesting to see where Jake Locker is at this year. I think Hasselbeck should have been the starter last year and let them bring along Locker, but nowadays I guess a 1st round quarterback needs to be a day 1 starter if he is to be anything at all.

Look for Brees to have a field day against the Falcons....Asante Samuel is out against the Saints which means the Falcons will be starting 2 rookie CB's.

Good luck to all you guys' teams.

To all you Jets fans and Seahawks fans, I hope your teams beat the other NFC South teams. I'm hoping the Falcons stomp out the Saints, but it'll be a very high scoring shootout I think.

No Asante Samuel in for the Falcons is a scary thing to think about.

Brees always has a field day on the Falcons. It's a matter of out-scoring him, which the Falcons have done in the past. But apparently the Falcons are 3-11 in the Superdome. Yikes.

I'm looking forward to seeing what a Saints team revitalized by Payton's return will do offensively. I'm just hoping the defense can apply enough pressure to keep the Falcons from being able to match them.

I'm not a big fan of starting the season with division games, to be honest. I'd like to see them start around week 4 when teams are starting to find their stride.

So freaking excited for another season to start!!!!!!! Interested to see how Heyward-Bey and Bradshaw work into the offense and how TY Hilton, Dwayne Allen and Coby Fleener play in their 2nd seasons in the league. Luck should be fine as he is an elite talent.

On defense, a ton of new changes. Most interested to see how Landry and Toler play in the safety and corner positions.

These are the games that are the toughest when you are expected to win. Anyways, look forward to talking football with all of you and enjoy the opening weekend of games. Go Colts!

Actually, the Falcons are 3-11 overall vs. the Saints since Brees/Payton arrived.

Dang, you're right. I thought I heard Rich Eisenberg say at the Superdome.

I guess I try to just black out Falcons/Saints games

I think you need an mpeg-4 PVR for sunday ticket in HD, no? Ive been too lazy to pick one up, but it would be pointless to get sunday ticket if you can only watch in SD because of an old PVR.
