Same. And I can't interact with about a third of the neighbors I visit.

EDIT: Also, I have gotten 4 repeat prizes on that dumbass wheel.

Prioritize tasks:

Quests first
Task book second
Have remaining characters to chores that are the same length as each other.

For example: if Homer has to watch a 24-hour monkey movie marathon, then have the other characters do 24 hour tasks. That way they are always free at the same time. In order to get the next stage of the quests you'll need to have various characters free.

In terms of money focus on building building that will maximize the money per your time played.

I like white houses as they pay off ever 12 hours. The best value/time are the houses that pay off quickly (the Simpsons house hourly average is insane but you need to tap it every 45 seconds). So gauge how often you'll play and build accordingly.

When started I had a lot of brown houses and after I got into it I sold them all (but one I have one of everything I can buy).

I've read if you move the wheel 3 spaces back from the item you want and then spin you'll get what you want.

I have tried it, but never paid enough attention to see if that worked. However, I do have the Tunnel of Love. Wish I could get donuts for hearts.

I'll have to try that. I have so many sets of balloons I'm expecting the game to fly away.

I know it might eat into their profits somewhat, but they should make donuts purchasable with game money.

Is there any easy way to get donuts besides paying real money for them?

No. Donuts are a premium item and take forever to accumulate for free.

I'd love to buy donuts with game money. I have $5 million that I don't know what to do with. Yet the only premium items I have I got from the Mystery Box. I do have 208 donuts saved up but I have no idea what I should spend them on.

The Wheel of Friendship is easier this time around compared to the Christmas one. We now have everything from the wheel.

We found getting Luann (Milhouse's mom) as one of the better deals when it came to premium items. It was the only thing we ever spent doughnuts for, but it unlocks a character (Luann), a building (cracker factory), a quest to go with it, and unlocks food trucks which gives points in consumerism. Also, it gives Kirk a premium 8 hour job going forward

The worse part for me is accidentally clicking the donut icon and not cancelling in time.

under options there is a setting to confirm spending donuts. That way if you tap the donut icon it asks you if you want to spend them.

@Q-Scout: How do you have so much money? Is it just from playing a lot?

My towns still pretty small so Im spending everything I have for quests as soon as I have enough

Yeah I started playing a year and a half ago, and had about 300 white houses or so (now I have 250 or so in storage). At this point I'll just click the houses when I get notification that tasks are complete.

Once you no longer have things to buy your money starts to rack up fairly quickly.

I've got 203 stashed right now and still can't decide what to use them on. As much as I want Duffman it's just not easy to spend them. It took so long to get them...

I will only spend donuts on buildings that come with characters. Just buildings, just characters, or just decorations don't really do it for me.
