For Bolland, I can see him back at #3 C, next season, as it is unlikely that my guys can afford UFAs Bickell and Stalberg...Shaw back to RW on that line. Bolland struggles in the dot, big time, and that has held him back on a team that needs puck possession. Kruger has been a short term fix at #2 C, at times, and is young, but is also a sub-.500 FO guy.
Why hasn't Bowman Jr made a play for Matt Stajan?

Feaster would accept Saad

I think you're missing one of the best 2nd line centers in the league, Patrick Sharpe. Up there with Patrice Bergeron as one of the best 2-way centers in the game.

Patrick Sharpe doesn't take that many FO's and isn't great at it so he doesn't really solve the problem of the Hawks needing a solid 2nd line guy to win face-offs.

Matty...Sharp has said before, that while he is willing at play C, if the team needs, he DOES prefer Wing.

Playful, the thought on Stan, is that he is a pointman for decisions by committee, that includes his father and others, when it comes to acquisitions. It is clear, from our FA pickups since Tallon's departure, that the focus has been at mid-level or bargain acquisitions. Emery was a gamble, coming off of injury, the markets for Oduya and Rozival were soft, Handzus was a regular scratch.

"Big" moves, seem to be vetoed by the financial types in this front office committee. These sort of front office political intrigues have been the norm in Chicago since the two elder Wirtz's ownership tenures.

It is, but at the same time, Toffoli had a two point night in his absence.

Bob McKenzie was speculating that it might be a good idea to take out someone like Dwight King and put in Tanner Pearson.

Vicious slash from Keith.

Not sure if you can get a major penalty with a slash (pretty sure you can), but that should be one.

I wonder if Carter said something, or if Keith was saying Carter was embellishing on the ice.

I know it won't happen because Keith is a top player but that should be a one game suspension at the very least. There's simply no defending that play as it's vicious and dangerous.
