Well I'm not going to name names, but it's been more than one GM and they aren't long time vets in the CPHL so their firm knowledge of that fact did surprise me, but obviously not going to believe me when I'm trying to sell them a goalie, lol, which is understandable.
But yeah, only real reason I can think they may have come to that conclusion is because they are mixing up CPHL and NHLSL which actually does seem to value goalies less (for whatever reason).
[EDIT] - Might as well post trade block at top of page here.

The Blues are going to go ahead and put Craig Anderson on the block, although are in no desperate need to move him as we have enough cap to re-sign him and would be happy to do so.
I've had a couple teams tell me that goaltenders aren't worth much in this league in and would like to clear the air on that. I got flamed for selling Ward too cheap last summer so am really not 100% sure what the values are...but what I do know is that the best goalie in the league just carried a not so talent rich team to a cup win. So I have to think even if people's perception of goalie's is not having much value, it's likely wrong, and the best goalies should be more sought after than they currently are.
That said, the asking return will be less than I was hoping for a couple months ago but still selling him as a top 10 NHL goalie (instead of top 3) as I believe he will challenge for, if not run away with the vezina next year after a full healthy season.
Could be a rare opportunity for a steal here as the team paying for a very good goalie ends up with THE BEST goalie a year from now. But at the very least he will still be worth what you paid.

If you don't have a legit goalie and you try to aquire one (without sending a good goalie back) you'll should expect to pay a mint.
That said, I think the goalie landscape is going through some transition with some established names losing value and a good number of up and comers starting to emerge.

Have a 1st or 2nd round pick you don't want? Not sure if you will be able to attend the draft?
Looking to move up in the 2nd round from 55 or acquire additional picks. Willing to give cap or possibly include prospects to make it happen.

Wild will package Joel Armia or Ryan Murphy + 23rd pick to get into a higher position.

Lets try this again:
Filppula - looking for a lateral move for a more defensive guy.
Tom Gilbert - open to ideas. Lateral, downgrade + picks/prospects, me adding picks/prospects for an upgrade
Dion Phaneuf - downgrade + picks/prospects or lateral move.
All prospects can go:
notables are Boone Jenner, Matt Dumba, Mark Scheifele, Zac Redmond

I'm leaning towards blowing the team up over the summer.
I have a ton of RFAs that can be dealt

Still willing to move back from the 8th overall pick as long as part of the deal is a top 15 pick.

Sens have picks 130 and 142, both in the 5th round. I can no longer make the draft. Anyone want the picks for 5ths next year? Send me a pm.
Off to Philly.

Willing to move picks #16, #17 and #34. Ideally looking for upgrades at forward and defense or an RFA aged player. Can package or move picks individually.
