This is a tough one to predict. I didn't watch much of the Sens\Habs series so I don't know what to expect from them.

I think the Pens took the Isles too lightly early on and gt pushed back on their heels and never really recovered. They were outplayed in much of that series. If Nabakov wasn't a sieve the isles probably would have won.

I think this series will be decided by the adjutsments the Pens are able to make. If they show up to play its over in 6 (Anderson and Karlsson being the difference for the Sens)

If they continue to be unable to break out of their zone and the D core gets exposed it could be over in 6 in favour of the Sens.

I think the Pens didn't really respect the Isles, and once they did the Isles had belief, youth and everything else going their way. I think the Pens will be ready for this series.

I say Pens in 6.

Heads up for BC viewers, the Senators-Penguins game will be aired in its entirety and will pre-empt the election coverage in BC at 2000h, 8:00 pm Pacific. This situation happened 12 years ago here in BC when the Avs-Blues game in overtime was taken away from viewers for election coverage. Talk about pissed off viewers.

The Sens are now Canada's team.

Except that a large portion (not all of them) of Flames fans are cheering for Iggy and the Pens.

Anyone know how many Canadian players there are on each team?

In terms of guys that actually play it looks to be roughly 15 for Pens and 13 for Senators but that is just going by a quick look at each roster.

As a Flames fan, I'm definitely on board the Sens train here.

1. Pens pick likely drops a handful of spots.
2. St Louis pick drops another one.
3. I like seeing teams who have built through the draft and shrewd trades, not through tanking and luck, win.
4. If you have questionable vision, and squint in just the right way, you can pretend the Sens are the Flames.

I'm pretty damn sure that the Penguins are built through the draft.

it's pretty easy to build through the draft when you continuously suck

Like I said, tanking and luck. It's easy to build through the draft when Crosby and Malkin fall in your lap, and then you get a #1 pick on top of that as well (which they made a pretty questionable selection with).

The Pens could have bought every player on their team with money from Blood Diamonds as long as they are not owned by Eugene Melnyk I am on board the Pens train. Throw in scum bag Murray as the GM and it is an easy choice.

Point 4 is an insult to the Flames and Flames fans everywhere and terrifying to think if true. The Sens are a dispicable team and hopefully nothing like the Flames at all.

Vokoun to start. Not sure he will hold it so I went with Lundquist. Still think MAF will get back in.

Pens > Sens in 6. Through, I think the Penguins will have a tougher time against the speedy Senators.

If the Penguins have trouble with the Senators it won't have to do with speed. The Isles are a much faster team.

I remembering saying I am much more excited to see the Islanders try to pull of a freakish upset then I am in seeing Iginla in the playoffs playing for a team that's not Calgary. This time I just prefer the Sens over the Pens and would much rather see them win and try to bring the Cup back to Canada. Sens in 7
