Contrary to answers given here the distance is about 1,000 kms if you go the shortest route.
Hours are not measures of distance. If someone asked when are you working until, you wouldn't say 200 kms. When someone asks how long a hockey ice is, you say 200 feet, not 8 seconds.
@RyanNPike: Steve Begin is not on the bench to open the second period. #Flames

do we really want to teach these young guys to be losers? look at what those 3 1st picks did up north. Culture of LOSERS
I'm not mad at the efforts, I'm mad at the morons running the show that they waited to call up all the players we've been wanting to see all year once their energy, enthusiasm and effort would only serve to hurt the team.
This is closer to the team I wanted from day one. No Iginla as your top winger, Backlind and Brodie leading in ice time, and kids like Baertschi and Reinhart in the lineup playing key roles.

Wrong. The actual distance is 675 km if you go the shortest route.

If someone asked how fast Han Solo can do the Kessel run, the correct answer is 12 parsecs.

The young guys have elevated the give a crap meter substantially.
This points out a mistake the Flames have made year after year. You need two or three young guys on the roster just to up the energy level of a team. Flames going with all kinds of vets for energy roles was a constant mistake.
